All journalists, photographers and TV operators who are interested in accreditation for the Asics Firenze Marathon 2018, as usual, must pass by the Press Office booth at the Florence Marathon Expo, open at Stazione Leopolda, via Fratelli Rosselli 5, Friday, November 23 and Saturday November 24 from 9.30 am to 8.00 pm.
At the desk, they can fill in the form in which they view and sign the regulation of access to the various areas and the notes on the rights to exclusive images that go beyond the right to report.
To obtain the pass for the reserved area at the arrival of the marathon in Piazza Duomo, applicants must be provided with a press card to which they must write the number on the regulation form.
Those who, due to special circumstances, cannot visit the Expo have the possibility of obtaining the credit directly in Piazza Duomo on the Sunday of the race, but only after agreeing to the terms and conditions with the press office, which can be contacted at car.carot@gmail.com in the days before the Expo, and during the days of the Expo at 338 8803200.
Please note that not having a pass on Sunday morning could create restrictions on access to the various areas of the departure area, limitations for which the Press Office declines all responsibility.
HOW TO ARRIVE TO THE LEOPOLDA STATION
On the train. From the Santa Maria Novella station take the tramway, direction Scandicci, get off at the first stop, called Leopolda, and cross the road. From the Santa Maria Novella train station, the Leopolda station is about one kilometer away. 5 minutes by taxi.
By plane: Florence Amerigo Vespucci Airport. The Stazione Leopolda can be reached by taxi in 15/20 minutes.
By car: A11 Firenze-mare motorway: Firenze nord exit. A1 motorway, both from Milan / Bologna, and from Naples / Rome: recommended exit Firenze nord. continue from the exit along Viale Guidoni and Viale Redi following the signs for the center, in the direction of Porta al Prato.
By bus. Lines: 29 – 30 – 35 – 57 (Stazione Leopolda stop). Lines: C2 – C3 (Leopolda stop).
